Celebrating Success

Meden Medical Services are celebrating our respiratory nurse Brain Rorison’s success in recycling inhalers. You may have noticed his picture in the chad issued on 27/11/2019.

Brian who has worked for MMS since May 2018 as a respiratory nurse, was concerned about the environment due to plastic waste from empty inhalers.

Brian heard about the scheme run by the local Rowlands Pharmacy group in Warsop and jumped at the chance to introduce it to his patients.

Brian sees an average of 20 patients per day who use one to two inhalers per month.  The scheme has been welcomed by the patients who have been keen to help with the environment.
